2012 Speaking Engagements
Columbia Aviation Association
Nov. 29th, 2012 - Speaker Event / Aurora, Oregon
Kelvin Scribner discussed Sagetech Corporation's new Clarity ADS-B receiver, UAV Transponder and their product roadmap.
AUVSI - Cascade Chapter
Sept. 27th, 2012 - Fall Unmanned Symposium / Bend, Oregon
Mr. Scribner's presentation focused on a flight demonstration of ADS-B technology where an unmanned aircraft will be flown with an integrated Sagetech transponder that will deconflict with a manned aircraft carrying the same equipment. This demonstration will be the first of its kind showing a possible solution to integrated airspace operations.
Joint Manned, Unmanned Aircraft Operations using COTS NextGen ADS-B Tracking - Watch Video
Oct. 24th 2012
Mr. Scribner narrated the
demonstration video and explained the use of the “NextGen” Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) system to facilitate joint operations between unmanned and manned aircraft by providing operators and pilots in-flight tracking of all participating aircraft.
